Creating and Sending Membership Packages to Clubs

In this document, we will explore how to create and send packages to clubs from a franchisor's perspective. By following these steps, you will learn how to manage various configurations for different clubs within a franchise, ensuring each club receives the appropriate package tailored to their specific needs.

Step 1

To begin, as a franchisor, log in with your credentials. Once logged in, you will be able to view a list of centers within the franchise that you have access to.

Step 2

After logging in, select a specific club, for example, West 92nd. Navigate to the 'Admin' section and access 'Settings'. Here, you will configure the ability to create and send a package for this particular club.

Step 3

Proceed to create a plan within the admin section. If no plans exist for this club, you will need to create a new one. This is where you can define various types of plans.

Step 4

Choose the type of plan, such as a pay-as-you-go, contract, or pay-in-full plan. For instance, you might create a 12-month contract membership. Set the billing frequency and any applicable sign-up charges.

Step 5

Currently, no sign-up charges are configured, but if they were, you could select them. Decide if the billing day should coincide with the anniversary of the sign-up or occur every Monday. These options are visible to clubs during sign-up.

Step 6

For a 12-month contract, enter '12' as the contract duration. Decide the course of action upon contract expiration: allow it to expire, auto-renew, or convert to pay-as-you-go.

Step 7

Determine whether to auto-renew the contract with the same terms or convert it. Add services such as 'Membership' to the package. If not configured, you will need to set it up.

Step 8

In this setup, dual languages (English and French) are supported, with English as the primary language and French as secondary.

Step 9

Include any descriptions, terms, or agreement conditions associated with the service. If services were configured, you could select them here.

Step 10

Once the service category is created, set a base price, such as $25 or $30 every other week. Assign a name like 'Membership' to the service.

Step 11

Configure any applicable taxes. In this example, no tax is configured, so select one of the available options.

Screenshot 11

Step 12

Specify the service's applicability: convert purchasers to members, make it exclusive to existing members, or offer it as a non-member service.

Screenshot 12

Step 13

Ensure that purchasing the membership converts the individual into a member. Add this service to the plan.

Step 14

For a personal training (PT) plan, include PT services or a combination package. Otherwise, a single membership suffices. If setting up a PT plan, omit the membership and add an appropriate category.

Step 15

Label it 'personal training' or 'coaching' for appointment-based services. Determine the price for these services.

Screenshot 15

Step 16

Set the price, for example, $150. Note that no tax is currently configured.

Screenshot 16

Step 17

Define the number of sessions offered every two weeks, such as six sessions. Specify that this is a member-only service.

Screenshot 17

Step 18

Understand that there are additional configurations for setting up plans. Options like products, deposits, advance rentals, and advanced settings for freeze, access, upgrades, and auto-pay are available.

Step 19

These advanced options are detailed in plan-specific videos. Conclude by clicking 'Save' to create the plan for the club.

Step 20

That's the complete process. Thank you for following along.
