Defining User Roles and Permissions in Fitness Force Platform

Managing Staff Permission Templates and Assigning Access

This process explains how to create a new staff permission template, review existing templates, and assign a template to a specific staff member to manage their access rights.

Step 1: Open Staff Permission Template Settings

Type “staff” into the settings search bar and select “Staff Permission Template” from the results to open the permission management area.

Step 2: Create a New Staff Permission Template

Click “Create Staff Permission Template.” Enter “Club manager” as both the name and description of the template, then begin selecting the specific client communication permissions you want to grant.

Step 3: Configure Additional Permissions and Review

Scroll through the remaining permission categories, enabling the appropriate scheduling and billing controls. When finished, review the full list of assigned access rights to confirm the template is configured correctly.

Step 4: Return to the Permission Template List

Go back to the settings menu, search for “staff” again, and navigate to the Staff Permission Template list to view all existing templates.

Step 5: Review Assigned Users for Templates

Open the “Club Manager” template to check whether any staff members are already assigned to it. Then switch to the “Administrator” template to review its list of assigned users.

Step 6: Open a Staff Profile for Editing

Navigate to the main Staff list. Locate the team member whose access you want to update, click “Actions,” and choose the option to edit that staff member’s profile.

Step 7: Assign the New Access Template

Within the staff member’s profile, open the “Assign Access Template” dropdown. Select the newly created “Club Manager” template to apply these permissions to the staff member, and save your changes.
