# Managing Client IDs in Fitness Force

> ${youtube}[](P3FhVj0dDu0) this process, you'll learn how to manage client profiles within the Fitness force software. Each client, whether a prospect, trial participant, or member, is assigned a unique identification number that remains consistent throughout their journey. This guide will walk you through the steps of creating and managing these profiles efficiently.

## Step 1

In this video, we will discuss the unique identification number assigned to a client, whether they are a prospect, trial participant, or a member. Initially, a profile must be created in the Fitness4 software, where a unique ID is automatically generated. This unique ID accompanies the client throughout their journey, from being a prospect to becoming a trial participant or a member.

## Step 2

Let us explore the process. The simplest way to create a profile is by selecting "Create" and then "Create New Prospect." For now, navigate to the "Prospects" tab under CRM and select a prospect from there.

## Step 3

As you can see, Walter is a prospect with a unique client ID, in this case, 26618. You can easily copy this ID. If Walter wishes to take a trial, proceed to the "Trials" section to create or start a new trial.

## Step 4

When the status changes to a trial, the client ID remains unchanged. If Walter decides to become a member, navigate to the "Subscriptions" tab to create a new subscription. If the subscription includes a base membership, Walter's status will change from prospect or trial participant to member, while the client ID remains consistent.

## Step 5

The client ID is a unique identifier automatically assigned by Fitness4 to each client, regardless of their status or position in the member journey.
