Managing Guest Referrals in Fitness First
In this document, you will learn how to manage guest referrals in the Fitness First platform effectively. We will explore two methods: creating a new prospect for referrals and configuring guest passes for existing membership plans. These strategies will help enhance member engagement and utilize guest referrals to grow your fitness community.
Step 1
Guest referrals often lead to high conversion rates for new members. In this section, you will explore how guest referrals can be efficiently managed within the Fitness First platform. There are two primary methods for managing guest referrals.

If you receive a referral from an existing member for a potential new member, you can manage this by clicking the "Create" button to establish a new prospect. As you fill in the prospect's details, be sure to include the name or details of the member who referred the guest.

For example, if John was referred by Hari, this relationship is recorded and managed throughout John's membership journey with your facility. This method allows you to track referrals and incentivize existing members who refer others. Another approach is to offer membership plans that include the ability to invite friends for workouts, commonly known as "bring a guest" or "bring a buddy" sessions. This option is integrated into

the membership plan. To configure this option, navigate to the admin section and access the plan configuration. Suppose the gold membership includes this feature.

For instance, the gold membership is a monthly contract, which allows each member to bring four guests per month. To configure this feature, follow these steps.

To set up guest passes, navigate to the advanced section and scroll to the bottom to find the guest passes section. Here, you can configure two settings. Locate the setting "Configure the number of guest passes automatically added to the member's account at each billing cycle." Enter four for the monthly guest pass limit, allowing one guest per day.

This configuration grants all members with gold memberships the ability to bring friends four times a month. Members can use their white-labeled Fitness First app to invite friends by entering their details. A link is then sent to the friend.

Step 8
Upon receiving the invitation, the guest will see the invitation date and must sign a release of liability waiver, ensuring compliance with your facility's policies. Once signed, their information is captured, and they will appear under "Prospects" with a tag indicating a guest referral.
