Restricting Member Bookings to Staff Availability
This document outlines the process of managing scheduling options in a fitness center's CRM. The goal is to ensure that members are only able to book appointments or classes during times when the relevant staff or trainers are available. This prevents scheduling conflicts and helps maintain an efficient workflow. Users will be guided through the steps to check trainer availability and make bookings accordingly.
Step 1
To limit scheduling options to when a staff member is available, the CRM provides prompts when booking a class or personal training appointment. If the trainer or staff member is unavailable, the system will notify you.

Step 2
To proceed, navigate to the fitness calendar and initiate the appointment booking process. Enter the member's details and the purpose of the appointment. Upon adding the trainer and selecting a time, the system will immediately alert you if the trainer is unavailable.

Step 3
If the trainer is unavailable for the chosen date and time, you will receive a notification. You may proceed to forcibly book the trainer or adjust their availability through the Manage Availability option. Note that forcibly booking despite this message requires elevated permissions.
