Personal Training Package Creation Guide

This document outlines the process of building a personal training package. This includes creating a subscription plan, setting up payment and service options, and configuring membership details. Follow the steps below to set up a personal training package effectively.


Step 1


Navigate to the settings section in the admin panel. Only super admins have the authority to create a personal training package.

Access the settings tab and proceed to the rate card, followed by the plans section. This area is where you can create session-based or service-related products. You will be setting up a subscription here.

Choose the "Paid in Full" option for plans requiring upfront payment. For contractual or pay-as-you-go memberships, select the respective option. Enter the details for a membership package, such as 12 months with 144 sessions.

Update the plan name and also modify the advanced settings to input a secondary name. This name will appear on the mobile app or portal where the membership is sold.

Select the appropriate service category. Since this is for personal training, choose "Personal Training" from the list of options.

Enter the base price, inclusive of VAT, GST, or other applicable taxes. For example, a 12-month, 144-session package might cost 55,000 rupees in India. Ensure you select the correct tax group.

Specify the duration of the package. For a 12-month, 144-session package, select the appropriate options. If offering unlimited sessions, choose the "Unlimited" option, allowing members to access unlimited sessions within the tenure.

Since the package is for 12 months with 144 sessions, select this. If a base membership is required to purchase personal training, choose the "Members Only Service" option.

If any membership type is sufficient as a base, such as gym floor or personal training, select "Converts to Customer to Member." If personal training can be purchased along with a gym membership, choose the appropriate option.

If the package is open to all, select the last radio button. Click "Add Service" to proceed. Additional settings like balance limits and suspension rules can be configured here.

Enter the number of days the balance is valid. For example, if freezing is allowed in a 12-month personal training package, update the allowed number of attempts for freezing within a calendar year.

Specify the maximum and minimum number of days freezing is allowed, such as 60 and 30 days, respectively. If upgrades from shorter packages are allowed, enter the number of days upgrades are permissible.

Set the number of days after which upgrades are not permitted. If the membership is transferable, configure the transfer options here.

Enable the toggle button if the membership should be sold on the website or ensure the in-club option is active for staff to sell during billing. Finally, click "Save" to create the plan.
